🗳️ What's your biggest headache right now?
The problem

Most businesses manage
contractor compliance like this.

📁

"It's in an email somewhere"

Insurance certificates buried in inboxes. Trade licences saved to random folders. No central record, no system, no confidence when someone asks.

📊

"I have a spreadsheet for it"

A spreadsheet someone last updated eight months ago, with calendar reminders everyone ignores. It looks like a system. It isn't one.

😰

"We found out when it was too late"

Contractor's public liability lapsed. Something went wrong on site. Claim rejected. Legal letter arrives. Personal liability triggered.

⏱️

"It takes hours every time"

Chasing certificates, following up by email, re-entering data manually. Every new contractor costs an hour of admin you simply don't have.

Under WHS Chain of Responsibility law

If your uninsured or unlicensed contractor causes injury or damage on your site, you can be held personally liable — regardless of whether you caused the incident. This is Australian law, enforced by SafeWork today.

Everything you need to stay
compliant — nothing you don't.

Purpose-built for Australian SMBs that rely on subcontractors. Not a bloated enterprise ERP with compliance buried in a menu somewhere.

What Australian business owners
told us during development.

We spoke with over 80 Australian SMBs to shape Evido's design. These are three of the conversations that led us here.

★★★★★

We had a SafeWork visit in October. Because I had everything in one place, I produced a full compliance report in under two minutes. The officer said it was the most organised contractor file he'd seen all year. That moment alone justified every dollar.

I manage 45 properties and 30 regular maintenance contractors. Before this system, I lived with constant anxiety about expired certificates. Now the platform alerts me when something needs attention. The time saving in a week is extraordinary.

After a near-miss with an expired workers comp certificate, our board wanted a proper system. We looked at enterprise ERPs — all $500/month and months of onboarding. Evido was live in an afternoon and cost what we were spending on one hour of our compliance consultant.

Pricing

Enterprise pricing for
a small business problem. Not anymore.

The tools that handle contractor compliance were built for large corporations with IT departments and six-month onboarding budgets. Evido was built for the other 400,000 Australian businesses.

Generic ERP / Enterprise Software
$300+/mo
Per-seat pricing. Sales call and demo required. Implementation takes months.
  • $300–800/month (per seat, scales up)
  • Built for enterprises, not SMBs
  • Requires demos, training, IT support
  • 3–6 month implementation before value
  • 80%+ of features you'll never use
  • Compliance buried in complex menus
  • Document storage (eventually)
  • Contractor tracking (with configuration)

Who it's for

Built for the person who
handles everything.

Evido is simple enough to use without training — designed for the business owner or manager who runs compliance alongside a hundred other daily responsibilities.

🔨
Builder / trades business owner

"I have 12 subbies and no proper system for their certs."

You engage electricians, plumbers, and concreters on every project. WHS CoR liability is personal. $69/month vs a $500k fine is easy maths.

"We had an incident and my insurer asked for evidence we checked credentials. I had nothing. That cannot happen again."
🏢
Property manager

"Maintenance contractors change constantly and I can't keep up."

You manage 30+ properties with 20+ contractors. Professional indemnity requires demonstrated due diligence. Your current system is a prayer and a shared inbox.

"I check certificates when I think of it. Which is basically never. And that thought keeps me up at night."
⚙️
Operations / facility manager

"SafeWork asked for our contractor register and I spent two days pulling it together."

You manage a building or campus with multiple service contractors. Compliance audits are stressful. SafeWork visits are unannounced. You need this ready constantly.

"My insurer wants to see a proper compliance system. An email folder and a spreadsheet don't count anymore."

FAQ

Common questions

How is Evido different from using a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet is passive — it only knows what you remember to update. Evido is active: it tracks expiry dates, sends automatic alerts before anything lapses, logs every verification action as timestamped evidence, and lets your contractors update their own documents without you chasing. When a SafeWork inspector arrives, you produce a complete audit pack in 30 seconds — not two days of searching your inbox.

Why is it $69/month flat instead of per-seat pricing?

Per-seat pricing was designed for enterprise HR software with large IT budgets. A 10-person building company using enterprise compliance tools pays $300–500/month minimum. A small property management firm shouldn't pay more just because they add new contractors to the system. $69/month flat means you can add 100 contractors and the price stays exactly the same.

Does my contractor need to create an account?

No. Contractors receive a unique link, click it, and upload their own documents directly — no login, no password, no app to install. The whole process takes under 10 minutes on their end. You get notified once their documents arrive and are ready for review.

What types of documents can I track?

Public Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation, Professional Indemnity, Trade Licences (electrical, plumbing, gas, building), Site Induction Records, and any custom document type you define yourself. Each document has an expiry date that drives the automatic alert system. Need a document type that's not listed? Create it in under 30 seconds.

Is my data stored in Australia?

Yes. All data is stored on AWS Sydney servers (ap-southeast-2 region). We do not transfer data outside Australia. Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Evido is built to Australian Privacy Act requirements from the ground up.

When does Evido launch, and what happens to founding member pricing?

We're deep in development and moving fast. We'll email all priority list members well ahead of any public announcement — you'll get first access, full stop. Founding members who secure $39/month now keep that price permanently, regardless of when we open the doors. Waitlist responses are actively shaping which features ship first, so your answers directly influence what we build.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. Cancel in your account settings in under two minutes. Founding member pricing is locked for as long as you stay subscribed — if you cancel and re-subscribe later, the $39/month rate will not be available again.

Does Evido count as legal compliance?

Evido gives you a documented, timestamped record of your due-diligence efforts — which is precisely what WHS CoR and most professional indemnity policies require evidence of. It is not a substitute for qualified legal or WHS advice. What Evido does is make it easy to demonstrate you had a proper system in place. That's the difference between "we tried" and "we can prove it."
